I was able to add a 3 mile run on Wednesday to make up for the one I missed last week. It has been a while since I ran 3 days in a row. Overall, I felt pretty good. On Saturday I did my normal long run, 6 miles this week. I am still trying to get my hydration right. I had 10oz of water and a banana about an hour before my run. Then eat a wheat bagel with some jam. I usually do not eat so much before a run, but it was raining so I waited a little while for it to clear up and needed something else to eat. I had no ill effects during my run, but did fell thirsty around mile 2. The first couple miles where very pleasant as it was still cool as the rain stopped, however at mile 2 the sun came out and it got very humid and hot. I eat my GU and picked up 12 oz of water at mile 3. I did have some minor right knee discomfort, that went away after the first mile only to come back around mile 5. My marathon plan calls for 5 days a week. So the fact that I was able to do 5 runs this week without any issues makes me feel confident that I will be ready to start my marathon training on schedule.
