conditions: mild summer day, no wind, 19 degrees celsius (66 F) and light rain.
For my first 25 minute run, decided to do my more difficult park track today. Went out conservatively at what felt like a nice slow pace. I desperately didn’t want to suffer the uncontrolled huffing and puffing that has plagued me on previous runs lately…
I completed the run no problems! More so than the 20 minute run this one felt nice, definitely on a high! My pace was about 6.05pk (9.48 per mile). This puts me right on track for a 5K in under 30 minutes… I’m very happy with myself at the moment…
It’s so strange though, I’m sure I was going more slowly but this is one of my best times versus distance and also my longest run. I shortened my stride a little but travelled much further… I almost feel like a runner ![]()
A special shout out to Goose, BrianK, shodack78, doehead, novicerunner, JustaT and committed and all on the C25K forum for lifting me and keeping me focused.
