My Resolution - Day 16

It’s been a very exhausting day today. I woke up early this morning with not nearly enough sleep. That caused my Philosophy class to be rather unproductive, which meant I watched part of the movie Zeitgeist, which does on some level have to do with philosophy. That part I watched was the religion part, and for skeptics and believers alike, they should all watch at least the first part of that movie and consider what it is actually saying. After that revelation, I carried on my way through each class going through the motions. Most notably I finished all my ideas for the redone version of Guernica, which was a nice achievement. However, the most interesting part of my day was when we went out to lunch and went to our local mall, which now looks like a bomb wiped out the population, as nearly have the store is shut down and completely empty, bars, glass, and torn carpet alike. With that eerie time spent over with, and the weekend finally upon us, I did a little training for track after our preliminary meeting for all those interested. Then my girl friend and I went to the swim meet for our school, which was very odd because the spectators were in a separate room with a huge wall of glass for viewing the swimmers below, this made things, for the most part, uninteresting. The reason for that being that you couldn’t cheer because there was a huge, nearly sound proof wall of glass in front of you. Also, unlike track there is no build up to a specific event, the girls just kept going and going and going as fast as they could through every event, it didn’t leave a whole lot of interest in your eyes, and cheer in your voice. Once that was completed, it was time for a basketball game for our school, which was a little more exciting and we extended our winning streak to 3 games now, which is excellent for our school.

Now I have just returned home after relaxing with my girl friend at her house, and doing a little sporcling. For those of you that don’t know sporcle is a website for hundreds of quizzes to test your brains.

It’s now 12:22AM and I seriously need rest.
