The longest run (to date)

Today, my Summer Safari assignment was a 20-mile run.  Courtesy the support of my teammates, I made it through.  By the end of the run, my right foot was very unhappy.  I spent most of Saturday with my foot on ice or otherwise not in use, but I’m not sorry I ran.  In 43 days, the hook on my medal rack allocated for marathons won’t be empty.  For that little piece of metal, I’ll keep running.

20 miles, 3:24:34, 10:13.7/mile
